Friends. Everyone has them and everyone needs them. They’re there with you through the good and bad times. We’re saying ‘Yay!’ to friendship!

We all have friendships in our lives, and maintaining these friendships is an important skill to learn – because friends are the people who support you during the tough times and the people you can enjoy the good times with!

Doug Armstrong has shared his top tips on maintaining healthy relationships with Rise Above – and it’s well worth watching because all 10 tips are super super important for making sure you and your friends take care of each other. We won’t give them all away here – you’ll need to watch the video to get the full list! – but we can say that listening is super important, and making sure that you celebrate the successes that your friends make in life. If you get jealous of your friends then that’s understandable – we’re all human! – but you’ve gotta learn to swallow that pride if you’re feeling jealous and be happy for your friends… It’ll make you happier in the long run too!

Basically, just think about what you want from a friend, and apply those aspects to your current friendships. That way, you’ll learn who your true friends are – and make sure that you stick together!
