Sex for the first time can be totally scary and also, like, insanely awkward to talk about. There are so many questions!! What happens when you have sex for the first time? Does it hurt? How much? Will it be messy..? How messy? How do I even know I’m ready?!?
Jimmy from the 4:01 show has been looking at all the comments on the channel, and is asking all those questions for you. He chats with Aaron Roach-Bridgeman from SBTV about all the pressures to have sex, and then even goes to a sexual health clinic (which, btw, is totally fine to do if you have questions! It’s literally their job to help you) and chats to someone there about the importance of contraception to avoid pregnancy and STIs.
He learns a lot about the importance of talking to your partner and explaining that, if you’re not ready, you need to wait. If your partner is decent and respectful then they’ll be cool with that. Anyone who isn’t and continues to create that pressure to have sex? Well, that’s just not cool so you really don’t want to be with them. When you are ready, be safe and use the right precautions! That way it’ll be as amazing as it ought to be.
