Friends

Friends. Everyone has them and everyone needs them. They’re there with you through the good and bad times. We’re saying ‘Yay!’ to friendship!

In this video Cherry Wallis tells us all about friendships – those amazing things that help the world go round and make life a better place *cringe* – and how to spot a good friend from a bad one. Sometimes it can be hard to notice when a friend stops being supportive and starts to put pressures on you that – let’s be honest – you could totally do without because everyone needs a friend. We all sometimes get scared about a life without friends.

You should definitely watch the video for more detail – and because Cherry’s super fun and everything – but basically good friends have a few key qualities which we’ll share with you now. They accept you for who you are, respect your choices, they listen and they’re honest – someone you really trust! If that sounds simple that’s because it is. Friends should make life easier and if you want to pull a random stupid face – that’s cool! – and if you don’t wanna go watch the same movie at the cinema that’s cool too. If you know your friend is looking out for you then you’ll listen when they give you advice.

Check the video and listen to Cherry’s words of wisdom because she completely gets it and then next time your friend doesn’t step up and support you, you can be honest and let them know how you feel. Remember, life is long and sometimes friends do come and go, but the best ones you’ll find are supportive and caring while they’re there.
