Our bodies are a confusing thing no matter if you’re boy or girl shaped! Find out what’s going on during puberty.

Sometimes, we all wake up and look in the mirror and think “ugggggh I hate the way I look” but how can we change this? Well, Jimmy from the 4:01 Show has discovered how to achieve the perfect body! All it takes is a little touching up on the computer, and perfection is achieved… Seriously – you’ve gotta check out the transformation in this video. It’s hilarious, but kinda sorta scary at the same time, like, it’s Jimmy but also definitely not a real person. Weird!

We all have body insecurities, and the first part of this video sees Jimmy pay a visit to Kai, the big boss of digital media company The Operators. Kai takes an image of Jimmy and quickly gives him greater muscle definition and a different skin tone, and addresses his complexion, eye size and facial structure. The result is mad, and highlights just how much editing is done to the images of celebrities that we see every day. So when famous people look too perfect it’s nearly always because they actually are! Comparing yourself to an image that has been doctored to look amazing? That’s never gonna end well.

But what can we do to feel more confident about ourselves, even if we ignore images from the media? Jimmy chats to Tom Burns to get his angle. Tom also recognises the damage the media cause when they create an expectation to look a certain way. Everyone is different! That’s what makes life interesting, so if you don’t look like Beyoncé that’s okay – as long as you’re healthy. That’s his other advice. Exercise and eating well is really important! Don’t get, like, mad stressed about it and make sure you’re doing it for you and no-one else, but do stay healthy. If you look after yourself, you’ll quickly be happier with the way you look.
