Ah exam time, that precious time of the year when ALL YOU DO IS REVISE. Oh actually, we forgot that’s not all you do, cos you also probably stress over grades a few hours a day! They’ve got tons of advice, like making a schedule and sticking to it, cos it’s super important to give yourself downtime either side of revision so you don’t go mad. Once you’ve finished revising, read a book or watch tv or do whatever it is that chills you out cos your brain needs time to relax so it can function at its best, truth. Exercise is also a great way of de-stressing during revision – it gets rid of so much tension – so try going for a run or playing some sport with a mate if you’re revising together. Taking your brain away from those books and giving it a new focus is super useful. If you wanna know how to reduce stress before exams – it’s possible, believe! – then find a song which totally relaxes you and listen to it 10mins before the start. That should get your head in a good space.
