Ah exam time, that precious time of the year when ALL YOU DO IS REVISE. Oh actually, we forgot that’s not all you do, cos you also probably stress over grades a few hours a day! Now, obviously you kinda wanna be managing exam stress and not letting it eat you alive so watch this video to find some new ways to deal with exam stress as Jimmy from the 4:01 Show chats to Radio 1 DJ Dev and YouTube legend Laura Bubble about dealing with exams.

They’ve got tons of advice, like making a schedule and sticking to it, cos it’s super important to give yourself downtime either side of revision so you don’t go mad. Once you’ve finished revising, read a book or watch tv or do whatever it is that chills you out cos your brain needs time to relax so it can function at its best, truth. Exercise is also a great way of de-stressing during revision – it gets rid of so much tension – so try going for a run or playing some sport with a mate if you’re revising together. Taking your brain away from those books and giving it a new focus is super useful. If you wanna know how to reduce stress before exams – it’s possible, believe! – then find a song which totally relaxes you and listen to it 10mins before the start. That should get your head in a good space.

Watch the video for more exam nerves tips – like avoiding revision in your bedroom, otherwise you might feel like there’s no escape from it! – and give them all a try to find the right thing for you. Exams are bare stressful, so you gotta do what works for you to avoid actually melting. You got this though, we’ve got faith, you’re gonna smash it!
